I submitted a patch for slrn to get it working with O'Reilly web board's NNTP interface. The patch itself wasn't accepted, but they used the idea behind it. I'm mentioned in the "Changes since 0.9.7.0a" section.
I submitted a patch for gtk+ to return the position of a vpane's slider. Unfortunately, it was already implemented by the time I thought of it.
