Hi mom and dad. This is the house that I'm buying. If you want more information, view the county listing for this house. Here's the tax information on the house.

These pictures were taken with a borrowed Canon S230 Elph.

If you want to view the rest of my web pages, go here.

Front

This is the front of the house. The neighbors on the right are jerks, and they drink unbelievable quantities of Keystone Light. The neighbors on the left are nice.

The 'Vette is Bob's. He replaced the original engine with a modern Trans Am engine, a project that's kept him occupied for the past few months. The motorcycle you see is mine. It's a 1978 Honda CX500. Oh yeah -- I've been riding a motorcycle for a few months, Mom.

Yard

So we are lazy and didn't water enough, and as a result, the yard is mostly brown. On the other hand, it's huge compared to lots of other lots in Ft. Collins.

Deck

The deck is old, but large, and wraps around the back of the house with a sort of multilayer effect. The couch you see is a free one that we picked up off the curb a while back. As you can tell, we're very classy.

You can also see our DirecTV dish. That, combined with TiVo, has wasted vast amounts of my life lately.

TV Room

I guess this is really called the family room, but I'm not sure. In any case, we just put our TV in here. It's also where we put our network equipment. It's the first room on your left when you walk in the house.

You can see the French doors that are installed as well.

Living Room

The living room stretches two stories. You can see the balcony leading to the two bedrooms in the third shot. We have a wood burning fireplace that is supposed to be very good for heating in the winter time.

The only irritating thing about this room is that there isn't a light fixture.

Dining Room

The dining room is slightly raised off the main floor. The movers weren't very happy about that, but then again, they're not paid for enjoying their jobs.

You can see the papasan chair I bought at Pier 1. Vive les 80s!

Kitchen

The kitchen is one of the few parts of the house that hasn't been remodeled. The former owner simply ran out of time. You can see what was probably the first microwave ever made hanging above the range. At some point, I'll have to redo this, but since I cook about 0 times a week, it's not really a big deal yet.

Stairs

The former owner built these stairs himself. They lead upstairs to the two bedrooms. You can look down into the living room from here. The shiny thing on top of the fireplace is my old Texas license plate.

Master Bedroom

This is the master bedroom, which Bob lives in. You can see that it has a bathroom. The little table setting is set up because his girlfriend was visiting.

Second Bedroom

This is the bedroom that I'm using. It's a bit messy, but that's to be expected. There's no attic in this house, per se. Both the master bedroom and this bedroom are on the second floor, but as you can see from the funny angles in the ceiling, we're pretty much living in the attic.

The house down the street has a similar floorplan, and their owner has knocked down the wall next to my bed to extend this room out over the garage.

Guest Bedroom

This is the guest bedroom, which is the smallest of the three in the house. In the hallway picture, the first door on the right is the bathroom, and the second door is to the bedroom. As you can see, it's currently occupied by a poor ecology post-grad student. Note the refugee-like quality of the room.

Basement

The basement has a small finished room and several unfinished rooms. The weights that you see are from the former owner. He decided that it was too much hassle to move them to the new house. Behind the water heater are some hookups for adding an additional bathroom.
