Beta. Climbing slang for advice, the term originated when climbers started taping themselves using Betamax recorders in order to analyze and improve their technique.

Peru

The Cordillera Blanca in Peru is a world class mountaineering destination, but there is stuff for rock jocks too. Unfortunately, there's not a whole lot of information on the web, so here's an attempt to start a repository.
