thanks Keith I think, at least I think I think, sometimes, but is the
plural of Brutus Bruti and if so the plural posessive Brute-eyes where
did we go wrong wrong gong ringing Grand in a day was one ever by Bill
Wright can Bill Wright write right how well will Bill write focus now on
the trip report without breaks like a juggernaut without brakes breaking
my mind reading, righting his writing, arguing, fighting where did the
climb go that the words were such that made some see red when they read
or not, darkness and drowning in a sea of words that we see
drowning bubbles like words escaping lurkers keyboard fingertip lips and
floating to the surface of my mindless minds, mired in muddy work when
far above climbing calling calling the distant mountains a stone a leaf
an unfound door...
em and i top el capitan (el cap in a day) but we've hiked here on the
falls trail railing against trash from wall rats scurrying from the top
leaving their droppings their leavings for us to scoop from the tortured
earth the aluminum foil the empty cans like hollow bones with the marrow
sucked out the endless empty water bottles we crush and
yessir yessir haulbags full, chris MacNamara wasnt at the parking area
back in the bayarea after his auto crash as we adopted our crag our
enormous emotion shattering crag of el cap that we today collecting
trash smash ourselves against like breakers on the rocks
no ropes we meet hans florine on the descent and hitch his rope down the
east ledges, our precious trash treasures tethered to us like anchors
valley floor adopt-a-crag day dusk descends with us sleeping the sleep
of the just...
the Just Plain Exhausted.
