Somehow the Kinesis Advantage was the winner, scoring 25/30 points. I actually tried this keyboard a while ago and found it completely unusable for one simple reason: the escape key is too small.

Now, normal people just read that last sentence and thought, “wtf?” But the dorks out there who use vim know exactly what I’m talking about. Yes, we are a sad and pathetic group. But we’re useful! None of our clocks blink 12:00!

I’ve been using the Goldtouch for about 5 years now, and refuse to do any real typing on anything else, ere my wrists start aching. It has a usable escape key. :) From the pictures, I’d consider using Freestyle VIP, but I’ve already got Goldtouches at work and at home, so probably not.
