E.g. emulating PCI Master Abort (return ~0UL to MMIO reads) would be trivial. Ditto for injecting other sorts of conditions to test failure paths inside the drivers - e.g. return bad status codes, timeouts, etc. And yes, hch is quite pleasant in person - even when completely sloshed.
