Not tech jobs, that’s fo sho.
This is not breaking news, but it does reflect the realization I’ve had for the past few months. Job tip: diversify your skills into a field that relies on geographical proximity or local knowledge. Depressingly, the best candidate for these types of jobs seem to be in the service fields, which don’t exactly pay that much.
I’ve been thinking about this for months now and I still can’t figure out a good way to export-proof myself.
So I got a call for help from some buddies who are currently hanging out in Argentina.
Also, I would like to put out a small request to those of you with 80’s
technology in your house. We are getting sick of Junin FM with its constant accordian/flute music and talking. If you would like to brighten our day, a mix cassette tape would be an excellent idea.
Because I’m such a nice guy, I dusted off my tape deck and hooked it up to the rest of my stereo and proceeded to make the best mix ever, featuring artists such as Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Beck, and others. Needless to say, it absorbed the qualities that make me rule, and due to the transitive property, ruled in its own right.
Today, I mailed it to Argentina. Here is a breakdown of the costs:
Yikes! It costs a shitload to mail stuff down there. All I can say is that those two clowns better realize how much I rule.
